Dry and Easily Stored Our hydroponic sponges are made from 100% biochar cotton, a high-fertility alternative to Sphagnum Peat. Before use, they are dry and can be stored easily, preventing mold and algae growth. Soaking the seed pod sponge in water for 10-15 minutes expands it to 2.56 inches in height and 0.9 inches in diameter, providing a perfect environment for seed germination and root development.
